Canaan to Supply Avalon A15Pro Crypto Miners to Cipher Mining's Texas Facility

Canaan said its US subsidiary agreed to supply 6,840 Avalon A15Pro cryptocurrency miners to Cipher Mining's Black Pearl facility in Winkler County, West Texas, in Q3.

Financial details were not disclosed.

The units will be fulfilled by Singapore-based Canaan's US and Malaysia facilities.

"As the price of bitcoin reaches new all-time highs, we're seeing a notable uptick in demand from our global customers," Canaan Chief Executive Officer Nangeng Zhang said Thursday in a statement.
