Richard Teng is the CEO of Binance and has over thirty years of financial services and regulatory experience. Richard joined Binance in August 2021 as CEO of Binance Singapore and shortly thereafter took on the role of Head of Regional Markets at Binance, responsible for the MENA region, Europe, and eventually all regions outside the United States. Prior to joining Binance, Richard served as CEO of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), Chief Regulatory Officer of the Singapore Exchange (SGX) and Director of Corporate Finance at the Monetary Authority of Singapore. His educational experience includes Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and The University of Western Australia, University of Pennsylvania - Wharton School of Business, USA.
