Sloan Research Fellowship, the MIT Technology Review “35 Innovators Under 35” Award, the Helmholtz Award, the Everingham Award, and the Ko Ko Award. The Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship, the MIT Technology Review “35 Innovators Under 35” Award, the Helmholtz Award, the Everingham Award, and the Koenderink Award for his pioneering contributions to computer vision. In addition, Prof. Belongie is a member of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and serves on the board of the European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems (ELLIS).
